Mega actor Varun Tej has been suffering for success from the past few years. He will be seen in Matka, a periodic action drama set in 80s backdrop in Vizag. Palasa fame Karuna Kumar is the director and the shoot of the film reached the final stages. The makers today announced that Matka will have its theatrical release on November 14th. Varun Tej sports a vintage look in which he was never seen before. The film will head for a clash with Suriya’s big-budget film Kanguva that will release on the same day.
Meenaksh Chaudhary is the leading lady and Nora Fatehi will be seen in an important role. GV Prakash Kumar is the music director. Vijayendar Reddy and Rajani Talluri are the producers of Matka. A major budget of the film was spent on the set work and multiple sets are constructed for the film. Varun Tej has lined up two new films: one with Merlapaka Gandhi and the other with Vikram Sirikonda.
