Mega Prince Varuntej has been shooting for back to back films Mister in the direction of Srinu Vaitla and Fidaa in the direction of Sekhar Kammula. Both the films have been delayed as the actor injured himself on the sets of Mister. As per the latest update, Mister is all set to hit the screens during the first week of March and Fidaa will release post summer next year. Varuntej signed a film in the direction of debutant Venky Atluri who was one of the lead actors in the film Sneha Geetham.

The film has been on cards from the past one year and has been locked recently. Varuntej will join the sets of the film from March 2017 and Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha fame Mehrene will play the female lead in the movie. Though it was Dil Raju who initially wanted to produce the film, now he has been replaced by BVSN Prasad. The other cast, crew are being finalized currently and other details to be updated soon.
