Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu gave his response on the issue of resolving reorganization issues between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. He hailed the joint decision of Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao and AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy to amicably resolve all issues.
Venkaiah has long been appealing for the early settlement of these bifurcation issues. He said that it’s good that both the CMs are ready for sorting out these matters without the need for involvement of the Central Government.
Already, KCR has announced that his government would be taking all steps to coordinate with the YCP government. He discussed it with Jaganmohan Reddy when they met at Governor’s iftar dinner. AP CM has agreed to KCR’s proposal for handing over unused portions of Secretariat buildings that were allotted to AP in Hyderabad.
