Victory Venkatesh turned quite choosy however his last outing Babu Bangaram ended up as a commercial disappointment. He is currently shooting for his next movie titled Guru which will showcase Venky in a stunning transformation. The movie has been planned in tight schedules and the entire shoot of the film will be wrapped up by December. Sudha Kongara is directing the movie and Ritika Singh will be seen in a prominent role. Venky will be seen essaying the role of a boxing coach and his ruggish look from the movie is already a sensation.
Venky’s Guru will be ready for Sankranthi release however with stiff competition from Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No 150 and Balakrishna’s Gautamiputra Satakarni, the makers of the film opted out of the race. Venky targetted the Republic Day weekend and Guru will now hit the screens on January 26th 2017. This will be quite a comfortable release for the actor.
