Ilayatalapathy Vijay’s Puli is postponed to October 1st 2015 from the originally planned date, September 17th. Producers, P.T.Selva Kumar and Shibu Thameens in their press release stated that post production work of the film is taking longer than anticipated and the delay in release is unavoidable to maintain quality. We gathered information that the CG work of the film is taking a lot of time to fine tune as the film has 2200 standalone CG shots in it. 2200 CG shots is highest for any film ever to be made in India. Puli is being directed by Chimbu Devan and Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music. Sruthi Hassan and Hansika are paired with Vijay in this fantasy adventure. Sri Devi is playing a villainous role. SVR Media is presenting the film in Telugu.
