Though Revanth Reddy’s party has changed (from TDP to Congress), his firebrand image has remained intact. It is not surprising to know that, there are more foes than allies in his new party. Moreover, one cannot deny the fact that, once a key politician in (Combined) AP Politics, I now fighting for his existence in Congress party.
Adding to this, the Kodangal MLA, Revanth Reddy is once again caught in a controversy. This time it is not his aggressive nature that brought him trouble, but his attitude. Revanth Reddy’s car hit a monument in Maddur Mandal, Mahbubnagar District. Instead of coming out, and apologising for the mishap, the MLA chose to be within the car.
The villagers initially demanded that the MLA should step out of the car, and apologize for the mishap. Soon the whole village started protesting over MLA’s behaviour. Realizing that the incident is going out of hands, Revanth Reddy nicely escaped on a bike from there, without being noticed.
Police who arrived at the scene became mere spectators after the villagers chose to block the national highway. The villagers alleged, the police were protecting Revanth Reddy and demanded the arrest of the MLA. The villagers took the matter to Telangana Minister Jupally Krishna Rao.
