MP Etela Rajendar created a sensation on Tuesday as he slapped a realtor in Pocharam, Hyderabad. Etela was angered at the realtor and brokers, for troubling customers who have bought plots from them.

The act of MP Etela Rajendar slapping realtor was caught on camera and the video immediately became viral.

As the Pocharam area, where realtor troubled land owners, falls in Malkajgiri Loksabha constituency represented by Etela Rajendar, he got involved in the issue. It is said that the realtor in this episode, has caused serious problems to land owners in the area. As Etela Rajendar received many complaint in this issue, he personally got involved.

“It has been more than six months since I got elected as Malkajgiri MP. The only thing I’m hearing is demolition of houses of poor and lands belonging to innocent people being grabbed by real estate goondas. Poor and middle class people are suffering in the hands of real estate mafia,” said Etela Rajendar, speaking after slapping the realtor.

“This realtor has been threatening people who bought lands with their hard earned money. He is demanding money from poor people to allow construction and demolishing constructed homes, if they don’t pay him. This is completely unacceptable,” explained BJP MP Etela Rajendar, justifying his action. He added that as Collector and Police did not take any action even after complaining, he had to take the extreme step, to save poor people from the unscrupulous realtor.
