Former Congress MP G Vivek, who had recently joined TRS has been moving in his old reserved constituency Peddapalli sending signals he would be next MP from the constituency. Student leader Balk Suman, who had defeated Vivek in the last elections, is now mostly seen in Hyderabad and New Delhi, more than in his constituency.
Till recently Suman has been moving actively in TRS activities and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao encouraging him almost like his family member. He is the lone leader from TRS, who has been frequently retorting Telangana JAC Chairman Prof M Kodanda Ram’s tirade against TRS government.
However, after Vivek’s joining the party, he is seen not so active. He has almost neglecting his constituency. It was Vivek extensively touring in the constituency giving indications that he would be contesting in the next polls as TRS candidate.
Vivek, son of former union minster and senior SC leader in Congress joined TRS well before the polls, along with his elder brother G Vinod, a farmer minister. However, sensing that his father was not happy to change the party and also TRS failed to ensure assembly seat for Vinod in Karimnagar district itself, he later returns to Congress. His father died after some time.
But both brothers were defeated in the last polls as Congress candidates. Overcoming hesitations, very recently he joined TRS. Immediately after his joining, Chief Minister appointed him as Government Adviser on Inter-state affairs, which was vacated by former PCC President D Srinivas after his election to Rajya Sabha.
Even during recent visit of Nizamabad MP K Kavitha, Suman was not seen in Peddapalli constituency. She was accompanied by Vivek only. Party insiders viewing that party may choose to give him Assembly seat or sent to Rajya Sabha.
