Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 100th film, which is currently on floors, chronicles the life history of the 2nd century Satavahana ruler Gautamiputra Satakarni. Balakrishna is playing titular role and creative filmmaker Krish Jagarlamudi is pulling all stops to make it a grand affair on the big screen. Predominantly shot in the unexplored lands of Georgia and Morocco, the historical film boasts an ensemble cast in the form of Shriya Saran, Hema Malini and few other prominent names.
Reportedly, the film has a crisp run time of approximately 130 minutes and the battle episodes occupy majority of the run time. It is learnt that the film is packed with four electrifying war sequences that offer an eye feast for the audience. The shooting has been wrapped up and the post production activities are currently in full swing. The audio launch will take place in mid December and the film is slated for Sankranthi release. Chirantan Bhatt is the music composer.
