Rayalaseema Pariraskhana Samiti President Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy announced that he would file a public interest litigation(PIL) on the extravagant spending of the taxpayers’money on the capital foundation laying ceremony soon.
Addressing media, the Ralaseema leaders, who was once TDP MLA, said October 22, 2015 was a black day for the people of Rayalaseema. “We have decided to boycott the ceremony and observed black day in protest against the highhanded attitude of chief minister Chandrababau Naidu with regard to the construction of the captial,” he said.
Alleging that dozens of Chief Minister Naidu’s men purchased thousands of acres of land near capital region as they already knew a about the alignment of the capital, he said the very purpose of the extravagant celebration of foundation was to cover up the real estate business going on in the capital region.
“We will apply for the details of the money spent each and every department for the Amarvati foundation and file a PIL for abusing the authority and misusing the people’s money,” he said.
As for Rayalaseema, he said implementation of Sri Bagh pact was the only solution to the region’s problems, They observe the black day in a fitting manner, he said this afternoon.
