Amrapali- the collector of Warangal district is going to tie the knot soon with 2010 batch’s IPS officer Sameer Sharma. Amrapali is an IPS officer who passed in 2010 batch and happened to fall in love with her junior Sameer who belongs to 2011 batch.

This dynamic lady IAS officer belongs to Vishakha district and Sameer is currently working as SP in Dayyu area. Amrapali’s father is a retired professor from Andhra University and she finished her B.Tech in IIT Madras. Later, she took a PG diploma from IIM Bangalore. Before becoming an IAS officer, she worked as a junior relationship banker.

Amrapali has been instrumental in reforming ODF (Open Defecation Free) in Warangal area. As of now, she is working as a rural incharge for the district as well.

This must be a delightful moment for Amrapali and her family!
