Hyderabad: Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has extended his support to Andhra Pradesh over the demand of special category status (SCS), but why TDP and Jana Sena are criticising KCR instead of welcoming it, questions YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
“No leader will criticise if neighbouring state extends support to us. If 17 MPs from Telangana join hands with our 25 MPs for achieving special status, then it’ll be easier to get it for Andhra Pradesh. Instead of welcoming KCR’s support, why TDP and Jana Sena are criticising him. Chandrababu Naidu has brought several leaders from other states, but no one openly supported the cause of special status. TDP partner and actor Pawan Kalyan also didn’t respond to it,” said YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
Highlighting the undercurrent friendship between TDP and Jana Sena, YS Jagan said that “Pawan Kalyan never campaigned in Kuppam, where Chandrababu Naidu is contesting, and Mangalagiri, where Nara Lokesh is contesting. On the other hand, Naidu and Lokesh didn’t campaign in Gajuwaka and Bhimavaram constituencies, from where Pawan Kalyan is contesting. Nara Lokesh never visited Mangalagiri during the past five years. I call upon every voter in Mangalagiri to defeat Lokesh.”
YSRCP chief further criticised a section of media as about 10 yellow media TV channels are totally campaigning for TDP with biased news.
