AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy could not apparently get clarity even after a prolonged review of his Capital City policy. He held a prolonged meeting with Minister Botsa Satyanarayana and CRDA officials and discussed all angles to the issue. But their confusion only increased. Jagan could not get his own clarity on how to proceed with his Capital policy. On the other hand, BJP, TDP, Jana Sena, Left parties, farmers and general public are demanding clarifications from Jagan himself. Now, Botsa says that they became more confused on seeing largescale irregularities in Amaravati project.
Is Jagan Circar really confused of is it afraid of announcing the decision to shift Capital? Is Jagan afraid of facing the angry public and the agitations from Opposition? The CM has apparently realised that it is not that easy to shut down Amaravati global city project in one stroke. Over 25,000 farmers have reached agreements with AP government to give 33,000 acres for the Capital City. They will all go to the court which triggers needless litigation.
Analysts refer to Jagan’s mocking comment on Chandrababu Naidu’s 40 years industry. Now the same long experience of Naidu is giving a really tough time to YCP. Jagan is clearly feeling the pinch of this in respect of Amaravati. CM has no plans how to overcome farmers’ issue before shifting Capital. Naidu has taken all precautions to protect the interests of farmers at the time of agreements. This became a big hurdle for YCP to pursue its Capital plans. Is it politically correct for Jagan to avoid the people and Opposition on Amaravati any further?
