It has now become clear that TRS president and Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao has kept his ‘national political plans’ in the cold storage again.
On February 1, addressing a press conference at Pragathi Bhavan, KCR announced before the local and national media that he will meet Shiv Sena chief and Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray to discuss on bring all non-BJP parties together to fight against Modi-led BJP government at the Centre.
KCR also announced that he will soon hold a national conclave of all retired IAS, IPS, IFS officers across the country to seek their suggestions on what changes should be made in the Constitutions to ensure all-round development of the country in a fast and transparent manner duly following the federal spirit of the Constitution.
The buzz in TRS circles is that KCR has kept both these decisions in the cold storage at least till Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections results will be declared on March 10.
This is because the intelligence reports obtained by KCR indicated that BJP still has the edge in UP Assembly polls although it’s strength in Assembly might come down when compared with 2017 Assembly polls.
But still, the BJP will get the required numbers to form the government with a simple majority. This has reportedly left KCR in a state of confusion on how to proceed on his national political plans if BJP retains power in UP and will it be possible for him to face even stronger BJP after UP Assembly polls.
So, KCR has decided to wait till March 10 before taking the next course of action on his national political moves.
