The controversies between legislators and bureaucrats of Telangana is causing damage to the ruling party even though the party has been showering favours in form of salary hikes and incentives to the government employees.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is said to have a strong hold over the TRS legislators, yet the scuffle between Janagaon collector A Sri Devasena and MLA Muthireddy Yadagiri Reddy of TRS is only aggravating.
While Devasena demanded the government to action and corrective measures, Muthireddy also wanted judicial action against the collector and demanded immediate transfer.
Warangal Urban Collector Amrapali locked horns with the local MLA. So, the government is likely to do a mutual transfer of Devasena and Amrapali to Warangal Urban and Janagaon respectively. But any action against Devasena who has been working efficiently will be not be welcomed by the people.
The attack on Yellendu municipal commissioner M Ravi Babu on Monday by the TRS leaders was followed by the criticism and protest by government employees
KCR government has not been taking any action against its legislator, evident from the dispute of Mahabubabad MLA Shankar Naik with Collector Preethi Meena.
Collector Dr Yogita Rana who won the best collector award was transferred after she managed to crack a whip on the TRS leaders of Nizamabad
Even MLAs like Rasamayi Balakishan and Gangula Kamalakar had spat over protocol issues with collector Sarfaraz Ahmed.
Similarly, MLAs Gadari Kishore, Vemula Veersham, Sankara Goud have been mulled with controversies.
The list and transfers drama continues without any serious action against the legislators. With just about two years for elections, TRS may want to soon resolve the issues as any government which faced the wrath of government employees cannot dream to continue in power.
