Will Mahesh’s projects with Star directors materialize

Superstar Mahesh Babu announced three projects at a time on the eve of New Year 2017. He confirmed films with director Koratala Siva, which is currently on floors, followed by Vamshi Paidipally and Trivikram Srinivas. Also, his long awaited collaboration with SS Rajamouli once again made headlines when the latter officially confirmed that a film under their combination will happen in 2018.

However, there is a cloud of uncertainty prevailing over some of the future projects committed by Mahesh Babu due to the latest developments. Yesterday, there was a surprise announcement regarding Trivikram teaming up with Venkatesh for his next project after wrapping NTR’s film. This announcement has led to speculations that the Trivikram’s film with Mahesh Babu which was supposed to commence after the latter wraps up Vamshi Paidipally’s film might not happen anytime soon.

Also, SS Rajamouli hinted a multi-starrer film with Charan and NTR in the lead roles as his next project after Baahubali franchise. Buzz is that the crazy multi-starrer will go on floors towards the end of next year and might be completed in 2019. So, there is no clarity on when Rajamouli and Mahesh will work together.

With Trivikram and Rajamouli choosing to work for other projects, it remains to be seen if their commitments with Mahesh Babu will ever materialize or not.
