BJP leader, MLC Somu Veerraju responded on the reports that he is resigning for his MLC.Talking to the media, the BJP leader stated that, he would resign only on one condition.
‘BJP and TDP together contested in the 2014 elections and came to power. I am elected under the MLA quota. If all the TDP MLAs, including AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, resign, even I will resign to my MLC post’, said Somu Veerraju.
BJP MLA Vishnu Kumar Raju debunked the claims that BJP leaders (sitting in New Delhi) are encouraging us (AP BJP leaders) to criticize TDP leaders in the State. ‘No one asked us to declare war against TDP’, added Vishnu Kumar Raju.
This once again exposed the level of animus are BJP and TDP towards each other. Many feel that it is the right time for YS Jagan to make an impact by attending the AP Assembly sessions. AP politics are turning to be more interesting than daily Telugu soaps.
