Within a gap of a month, three big stars of Telugu cinema are testing their luck during this summer. Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun are all set with their respective films and we are here with a short analysis about the summer releases:
Ram Charan joined hands with talented filmmakers Sukumar for the first time with Rangasthalam 1985. Charan bounced back with Dhruva and Sukumar scored a decent hit with Nannaku Prematho after which the duo is all testing their luck with Rangasthalam 1985. The film has a list of top technicians on board and Samantha played the female lead. Despite of songs and the teasers creating huge buzz, fans are not completely confident because of Sukumar who fell short of scoring commercial hits in the recent years. Too many logics in his films leaves the audience puzzled and the recent re-shoots left the buyers of Rangasthalam 1985 worried. We have to wait to see if Rangasthalam 1985 will end up as a huge money spinner during the season.
Stylish Star Allu Arjun who has been breaching up Rs 70 crore mark easily with his commercial outings is testing his luck with Na Peru Surya which is a stylish action thriller. Bunny plays an army officer in the film and his transformation received wide response from the audience. Vakkantham Vamsi is making his debut as director with this film is a mass entertainer and Bunny’s efforts have been seen in the teasers. Naa Peru Surya has been carrying huge expectations but audience are still puzzled about the directorial abilities of Vakkantham Vamsi as this film marks his debut as director. Many successful writers fell flat as directors and some of them like Koratala Siva and Trivikram ended up making to the top of the list too. Bunny’s performance is undoubtedly an asset but we have to wait to see if Vakkantham Vamsi manages to churn out the film with all the commercial ingredients making it a blockbuster
Superstar Mahesh Babu who has been suffering with back to back debacles is all set with his next film Bharat Ane Nenu. Koratala Siva who delivered a blockbuster Srimanthudu with Mahesh Babu is directing the film. The teaser which has been out recently has been a smashing hit and impressed all the sections of audience big time. Bharat Ane Nenu is on the top of the list when compared to Rangasthalam 1985 and Na Peru Surya in terms of expectations. With promising director Koratala Siva on board and Srimanthudu combo repeating, Bharat Ane Nenu has been carrying huge expectations. We have to wait to see if Mahesh bounces back to big league with Bharat Ane Nenu.
