The pre release event of Chiranjeevi’s SyeRaa Narasimha Reddy took place in a grand style this Sunday in Hyderabad. Pawan Kalyan, SS Rajamouli, VV Vinayak and Allu Aravind graced the event as chief guests.
Speaking at the event, Chiranjeevi said September 22nd is a memorable day because his debut film Pranam Kareedu released on the same day in 1978. Megastar went on to reveal that he is under the same pressure and anxiety for SyeRaa like he was for his debut film. SyeRaa is a dream project which in my mind for more than 12 years, said Chiru. He also explained the profound research put in by SyeRaa team to bring the cinema on unsung and first freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. Chiru said that they were initially hesitant about the hefty budget that is needed to make the film on Uyyalawada. ‘It was SS Rajamouli and his film Baahubali which inspired us to make a grandeur like SyeRaa’, revealed Chiru. He said SyeRaa wouldn’t have happened if there is no Baahubali. He praised Rajamouli’s efforts and conviction in proving that Telugu cinema has market beyond our two states. Chiranjeevi appreciated director Surender Reddy for his hard work and dedication in handling such a grand pan-India film involving hundreds of the technicians and staff. He also praised producer Ram Charan for not compromising on budget at any point and said that each and every frame has shaped up very well. He thanked all technicians and supporting cast and crew for being a part of the film. Chiranjeevi said the untold story of Uyyalawada will connect with all sections of audience and it has a strong social message to youth of the country.
Earlier in the event, Pawan Kalyan heaped praises on Megastar Chiranjeevi for having a strong impact on his personal life and career. He praised Ram Charan for producing a memorable film in Chiranjeevi’s career. He also added that SyeRaa is historical film that will define the greatness of our country. SS Rajamouli congratulated writers duo Paruchuri brothers for bringing the unknown details of great fighter Uyyalawada. He said SyeRaa is not just a gift to Chiranjeevi but it is a memorable gift to Telugu audience. He appreciated Ram Charan and Surender Reddy for their efforts.
Director Surender Reddy said the team worked for close to 250 days to bring this magnum opus to audience. He thanked Ram Charan for giving the opportunity to direct Chiranjeevi’s dream project.
