AP Minister Lokesh is sharing with colleagues an interesting and yet surprising episode he had during his visit to Davos’ World Economic Forum summit. An internationally famous industrialist visited Lokesh and his team of AP officials. He has already finalised his decision to invest Rs. 5,000 crore in AP. The industrialist told Lokesh what happened during one of his visits to Delhi when he met with PM Modi.<\/p>\n
When the industrialist indicated his decision about AP investment, Modi did not pay attention but quickly invited him to make that investment in Gujarat. PM went on to explain how Gujarat is a better destination considering better road, rail and air connectivity. Moreover, a bullet train project is also there. Modi has continued to impress upon the industrialist to change his decision about investing in AP.<\/p>\n
Sharing this incident with Lokesh at Davos, the industrialist said he had however preferred AP finally because of several reasons. Firstly, his company team of experts studied the Kia motors project and its execution in AP. They expressed total satisfaction on the support from the administration and the speed with which project could be completed. Another reason told by the industrialist is the brand image carried by Chandrababu Naidu in the entire country.<\/p>\n
