TDP boss and CM Chandrababu Naidu took strong objection to the transfer of his own intelligence chief by the Central Election Commission (CEC). The IB Chief looks after the security issues of the Chief Minister and he is not connected with the election process in any way. How can CEC take such unilateral decisions based on a politically motivated complaint?<\/p>\n
Chandrababu has asked his party leaders and cadres to get ready to join another agitation against the CEC at the national level. Instead of acting as an independent organisation, the CEC is just fulfilling the wishes of the ruling party at the Centre and its regional allies. This would be a big threat to the country’s democracy and the TDP would not hesitate to go to any length to fight against this injustice.<\/p>\n
Chandrababu expressed surprise how even the CEC can become part of the political conspiracy to transfer cops arbitrarily at the time of elections. He said that the transfer of Kadapa SP is nothing but an attempt by the YCP leaders to sabotage the investigation into the murder of YS Vivekananda Reddy.
