{"id":227143,"date":"2019-12-31T15:26:13","date_gmt":"2019-12-31T09:56:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.telugu360.com\/?p=227143"},"modified":"2019-12-31T15:26:35","modified_gmt":"2019-12-31T09:56:35","slug":"cbi-conducts-searches-at-premises-of-tdp-leader","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.telugu360.com\/cbi-conducts-searches-at-premises-of-tdp-leader\/","title":{"rendered":"CBI conducts searches at premises of TDP leader"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday carried out searches at the premises of former MP and Telugu Desam Party leader Rayapati Sambasiva Rao.<\/p>\n<p>The CBI sleuths from Visakhapatnam conducted searches at the residences and offices of Rao at Guntur, Vijayawada and Hyderabad in connection with investigations into a complaint against Transstroy (India) Limited, in which the TDP leader has stakes.<\/p>\n<p>Searches were also conducted at the premises of top officials of Transstroy in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and other states.<\/p>\n<p>Indian Bank had reportedly moved the CBI against the construction company for defaulting in repayment of Rs 500 crore loan.<\/p>\n<p>The company was awarded contract for Polavaram project in Andhra Pradesh by the then TDP government.
