The Revanth Reddy government has indicated that if NIC’s performance meets expectations, the management contract could be extended for an additional two years. This transfer marks a shift from private to public sector management of this crucial land records system.<\/p>\n
The government is currently working on replacing the Dharani portal with a new system called “Bhu Mata.” The transition process from the private entity to NIC has already been completed, with only the name change pending. Most pending applications on the Dharani portal have been resolved through special drives, with only matters related to new legislation remaining under process.<\/p>\n
