Telugu Association of North America (TANA) organized TANA @40 volleyball tournament followed by TANA TEAM SQUARE awareness program in Pennsylvania on Saturday, October 29th 2016.<\/p>\n
Volleyball tournament conducted from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm at Aspiring Champions, King of Prussia, PA. There is an overwhelming response to the tournament with 16 teams and over 130 players played in three different courts throughout the day.<\/p>\n
TANA Joint Secretary Ravi Potluri initiated and coordinated this event with the help of Philadelphia TANA Team. The event was primarily executed by Satish Tummala, Venu Sangani and Sai Jarugula with the help of Nagaraju Nalajula, Sunil Koganti, Raghu Yeddulpally, Rama Muddana, Krishna Konagalla, Prasad Kunarapu, Bobby Yerra, Sambaiah Kotapati, Gopi Vagvala, Chaitanya Vadlapatla, Vamsi Nalajula, Chaitanya Madala, Aditya Dittu etc. TANA Executive Vice President Satish Vemana & Past President Mohan Nannapaneni attended the event and encouraged them to participate in such events and congratulated Philadelphia TANA Team for conducting such a wonderful sport tournament. Philadelphia TANA Team appreciated Executive Vice President Satish Vemana and Past President Mohan Nannapaneni for attending this event.<\/p>\n

TANA Past President Mohan Nannapaneni, Foundation Trustee Harish Koya, Senior community leader Sambaiah Kotapati congratulated winners and runners-up teams and presented the awards. TANA team thanked media for the coverage by TV9 (Ujwal Kasthala) and the sponsors Spruce Infotech, Curie Learning Center Exton, Bell Info Solutions and New Deccan Spice.TANA team recognized Ramana Yalamanchali for tournament planning.<\/p>\n
Evening of October 29th TANA team organized TEAM SQUARE awareness program with Founder & Past President Mohan Nannapaneni & EVP Satish Vemana and other TANA leadership at New Deccan Spice Banquet hall. Nagaraju Nalajula welcomed the attendees and explained about the TANA activities happening in the Mid Atlantic area. 6th Grade student Aparna Vagvala briefed the TEAM SQUARE activities and introduced the guests and requested Mohan Nannapaneni to address the gathering. Mohan Nannapaneni addressed the audience and mentioned that TANA is serving the North American community since last 40 years with the support of dedicated volunteers and donors who always come forward to support TANA activities. Mohan Nannapaneni explained the TANA EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE MANAGEMENT TEAM SQUARE activities and requested the community to enroll in TEAM SQUARE. More than 20 people enrolled on the spot and extended the support to the TANA activities. Senior TANA members Kotapati Sambasiva Rao, Saroja Sagaram and CIO President Srinivas Sagaram, TAGDV President Hari Bungatavula, Suresh Reddy, Sreedhar Gudala, Srinivas Bharthavarapu, Krishna Nandamuri, Samba Ancha, Babu Danda, Venkat Chimli etc attended the event.<\/p>\n
TANA Executive Vice President Satish Vemana thanked all the volunteers who are working for TANA and organizing cultural and community events across USA and back in India and also thanked each and every one for their commitment and dedication.<\/p>\n
Everyone appreciated this well organized TANA event and enjoyed the tournament. All the participants were thankful to TANA team for providing them with the opportunity to play in the nicely coordinated tournament. They appreciated the flawless arrangements and thanked TANA team for their efforts in successfully organizing both events.<\/p>\n
