On the fourth consecutive day of his Twiter tirade against BJP, Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan today accused that the ruling party at the center is treating Andhras’ as `spineless\u2019 and without `self-respect\u2019. Asserting that he will not leave BJP keeping mum on his questions, the actor-turned politician warned that \u201cwe are not going to let BJP go unanswered for going back on what was promised.” <\/p>\n
Continuing his broadside against the BJP government, he pointed out that the national part going back on its promise of `Special Category Status\u2019 to Andhra Pradesh, which was prominently mentioned in its election manifesto and repeatedly assured by its leaders during poll campaign and also later.<\/p>\n
Indicating that successive government at the center have been doing gross injustice to the people of Andhra Pradesh, he said \u201cafter a decade of humiliation and insult ‘Andhras’ were thrown out, without a capital and with a huge revenue deficit\u201d.<\/p>\n
Deploring that the promised special category status became special package and rejected it stating it is nothing but an eye wash. He satirically stated that the BJP’s special package for Andhra Pradesh has nothing special about it apart from the word ‘special’.<\/p>\n
He warned that Andhra\u2019s will never forget the loss of 400 plus-young lives lost in ‘Jai Andhra Agitation’. “We swear on the lives of 400 students who were shot dead in ‘Jai Andhra’ movement\u201d, he added. <\/p>\n
