Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has instructed the officials to work towards making Yadagiri Gutta development project an engineering marvel. Entire project of Yadagiri Gutta will completed in one year. As the lay outs are ready, the CM asked the officials to start civil works from this Dasara, October 22, and finish everything by Dasara 2016. He said money won’t be a problem for the project as Rs 200 cr had already been sanctioned and more would be released depending on the needs of the project.
Reviewing the progress of the work on the Yadagiri Gutta development project, the chief minister instructed the officials to develop near by two hillocks in two temple city in an extent of 1000 ac on the lines of Tirumala hills.. The temple city will have wide roads, cottages, parks and gardens with plants whose flowers emanate sweet fragrance. Mada streets will be developed around the main temple as in Tirumala. On the North side of main Hillock, in an extent of 30 acres, a guest will be constructed on the lines of Padmavati guest of Tirumala, meant for VVIPs.
The CM asked Kishan Rao to monitor the project closely.
Some more salient points of the development of Yadagiri:
1. Main Temple will remain intact.
2.Two roads will be developed for ascending to and descending from the temple as developed for the Tirumala. The existing road will continue to used to reach the temple while the new road will be used to come back.
3. A bus stand will be developed on Yadagiri Gutta in extent of 1.9 ac.
4. On the Eastern side of the temple facing the South a massive Anjaneya Swamy statue with an height of 108 ft will erected.
5. Annadanam complex will also come up on main Gutta
6. The present Sri Chakra premises will become the queue complex for the pilgrims.
