AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy is unhesitatingly taking forward his votebank politics with a single-minded determination. He could not pass on to voters even minimum expected benefits under Navaratnalu Cash Transfer promises till now. There is no enough money in the government treasury for that. Poorer sections of people are slowly expressing their unhappiness already. Regardless of this, Jagan Reddy is preparing to use another master strategy to bind over these voters ahead of local body elections.
In the next two months, AP Circar is going to give one card to each beneficiary for every Navaratnalu and other welfare programmes being newly introduced. So, there will be plenty of beneficiary cards in every poor household. The plan is to make available at least nine to ten such cards in each poor family possession. However, the cards will not be enough to get the final benefits. The voters should make sure that YCP candidates win in the local body elections which will come afterwards.
The ruling party leaders, Grama Volunteers and Grama Sachivalayam staff will be warning voters about this. If YCP loses in a particular village, the beneficiaries there will not get any government benefits. TDP played similar tricks during Pasupu Kumkuma benefits distribution during last general election but it had to bite the dust eventually.
