Almost all the Opposition parties are agitating against the alleged attempts to shift the Andhra Capital City. The BJP, TDP and Left leaders are continuing their attacks though Minister Botsa Satyanarayana has taken back his earlier statements. Now, Minister Kodali Nani made a comment that is adding further to the confusion. He asked whether the TDP would or could stop the Capital shifting if the government takes a final decision to that effect.
Analysts say that these confusing statements of YCP Ministers are creating a very negative and unwanted mood among the people as a whole. The ruling party may take it as a political game but they are forgetting the fact that it will have an impact on the day to day life of lakhs and crores of citizens. Already, businesses are suffering from a slowdown in Vijayawada, Amaravati and Guntur areas. The common public are no longer able to bear any more confusion. There are increasing demands that CM Jagan should clarify on the fate of Amaravati but he has not reacted so far. The government is playing a dangerous game of political speculation that is throwing different sections of people on the road. Already, the construction workers have lost work due to sand policy.
