CM Jagan Reddy’s crackdown on YCP MPs has stirred a hot debate within the party and outside. More alarming reports are coming out on this aspect. Now, these MPs are openly sharing their anguish. Jagan Reddy’s new restrictions are that they should not also greet or wish PM Modi, Amit Shah and other Union Ministers in the Parliament hall. How can an MP afford to turn his head away when they come across Modi or Shah during the sessions.
The YCP MPs are clearly alarmed at the crazy conditions being imposed on them. Is this the respect that Jagan Reddy is giving to four to five lakhs of people they represent in the Lok Sabha? Particularly, some YCP MPs are personally known to Modi-Shah because of their businesses or long political exposure. These MPs usually follow the tradition there to greet and hug the VIPs like PM and Ministers when they face each other in the lobbies or the Parliament hall.
Following the control measures, the MPs are wondering whether there is close watch on their movements during the Parliament session this time. Moreover, all the YCP MPs are asked to take permission from their party second-in-command Vijayasai Reddy and party Lok Sabha leader Mithun Reddy for any meeting with Union Ministers. If they fail to do so, Jagan has threatened to issue show cause notices.
