Oopiri is an upcoming bilingual which features Nagarjuna, Karthi and Tamannaah in the lead roles. The film is an official remake of French film ‘The Intouchables’ and Vamshi Paidipalli, the director, has tweaked its storyline to suit the Telugu nativity.The film also casts Anushka, Adivi Sesh and Gabriella Demetriades.
The latest update reveals that popular actor Shriya Saran has been roped in for a brief yet important role in the film. This will be the fifth time that Shriya is acting alongside Nagarjuna. A close source to the unit revealed that she will join the unit pretty soon. The current schedule is happening in Vizag. The film was supposed to hit the screens in February, but it is heard that the makers are planning to push it to Summer.
