Tollywood is not just powered by star heroes. Many young heroes too power Tollywood with their sensations. Sometimes young stars too are showing stars to top filmmakers and heroes. Even taste of the movie lovers are changing and they are preferring films with good stories rather than top stars.
Tollywood has only six top stars and with the industry coming with more than 150 films there are ample opportunity for many upcoming heroes. So heroes like Nani, Sharwanand, Sai Dharam Tej, Raj Tarun and others always have films on hand and they are entertaining with good films to make everyone proud.
This year Nani is in super form. He scored hits with Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha, Gentleman and Majnu. All turned out to be decent entertainers. He even did special role in Jyo Achyutananda. His film Nenu Local should have been released this year but postponed at the last minute.
Ram attracted with Nenu Sailaja and though Hyper got good talk, it failed to sustain the good talk. Sai Dharam Tej scored hit with Supreme but Thikka turned out to be a disaster.
Nara Rohit starred in six films this year. He scored hit with Jyo Achyutananda but his films Savitri, Sankara, Raja Cheyyi Vesthe and others failed. He is testing his luck with Appatlo Okadunde Vadu. Naga Chaitanya scored hit with Premam but Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo failed to entertain.
Naga Shourya failed to attract with his films Oka Ammayi Tappa, Oka Manasu and Jyo Achyutananda credit went to Avasarala Srinivas. Manchu Manoj failed with Attack and Shourya. Vishnu is ok with Aado Rakam Eedo Rakam.
Raj Tarun had mixed luck with Seetamma Andalu Ramayya Sitralu stalling his success run but scored hit with Aado Rakam Eedo Rakam. Tarun attracted in guest role in Naanna-Nenu Naa Boy Friends.
Varun Tej’s film didnot release this year but is busy with many films. Sharwanand scored a hit with Express Raja competing with top stars during sankranti. But Rajadhi Raja disappeared without a trace. Naresh and Sunil didnot have any luck this year. Sunil’s Krishnashtami, Eedu Gold Ehe, Naresh’s Selfie Raja turned out to be disasters. Nikhil with Ekkadaki Potavu Chinnavaada, Allu Sirish with Srirastu Subhamastu, Vijay Devaraknda with Pelli Chooplu scored sensational hits.
Overall young heroes had average results and this showed that they went wrong with their story selection. If they learn from their flops they can reach next level of stardom.
