Most of the times, politicians statements are nothing but wild allegations. At times, there is a minuscule possibility of truth in those allegations/comments too. One should surely pay attention to the latest comments by TDP MLC Babu Rajendra Prasad.
Talking to the press, the TDP MLC said that YSRCP Supremo YS Jagan is behind Kanna Lakshmi Narayana’s nomination as AP BJP President. Though these comments seem as mere political propaganda, analysts claim that there could be a hint of truth in those statements.
‘Close sources to the BJP party that Amit Shah promised Kanna of AP BJP President Post when Hari Babu’s resignation was speculated. When Somu Veerraju’s name surfaced, Kanna announced that he would join YSRCP. At the same time, news about Amit Shah’s call to YS Jagan, asking him not to join Kanna or any other BJP leaders also came out.
And within days, Kanna’s is announced as AP BJP President, sidelining Somu Veerraju. There is definitely something that is happening under the carpet. A high chance of YS Jagan’s involvement cannot be ruled out, given the fact BJP’s and YSRCP’s ‘behind-the-door’ agreements, as speculated in state and national media’, opined a political analyst.
