In his first media conference held today morning after returning from foreign tour, YSRCP supremo YS Jagan Mohan Reddy trained his guns towards NDA government led by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. He made a bitter criticism of Naidu over the failure to implement the much hyped Super Six guarantees made before the polls last year.
Jagan alleged that Naidu betrayed the people of Andhra Pradesh with his fake promises under ‘Babu Surety – Future Guarantee’ scheme and failed to roll out welfare schemes after coming to power. He pointed how Naidu and his leaders made fun of him in the last five years when he used to press the button for cash transfer schemes to the poor people. He slammed Naidu alleging that the new government took record loans in just nine months.
Jagan further found fault that Chandrababu Naidu’s regime amassed 1 lakh 40 thousand crores loans from June last year till date. He alleged that the government took loans to the tune of 52 thousand crores in the name of Amaravati. He questioned why the government was unable to continue the welfare schemes like Amma Vodi, Rytu Bharosa, Vidya Deevena, Asara, Vahanamitra etc. launched by him if pressing button is a simple task.
Talking about employment opportunities, Jagan hit out at the government for failing to create jobs as promised by them before polls. He attacked Naidu for sacking two lakh volunteers and also for transferring ward and village secretariat employees to other departments. He criticised the ruling party for not fulfilling the promises made to state government employees and questioned about PRC and IR which were promised before elections.
Jagan alleged that Naidu resorted to financial destruction in the last nine months and said ‘Wealth Creation’ promised by the TDP president was only to create wealth for himself. He came down heavily for turning sale of sand and liquor into black markets for commissions by the local MLAs. He also alleged that Naidu, Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan are getting share from MLAs.
