Hyderabad: YSRCHP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy is on London tour. Reddy and his wife Bharati will spend about a week in London, where their daughter is studying at School of Economics.
Reddy had to visit London in last month, but his tour was postponed by a week owing to his busy political schedule, said a senior YSRCP leader.
Reddy had applied to the court for allowing him to travel to London to see his daughter and got a conditional approval. The court has asked Reddy to submit all the places to be visited in London, land phone number, mobile phone number, e-Mail, Fax number should be submitted to the CBI officials.
Before leaving for London, YS Jaganmohan Reddy met with party leaders and discussed on what factors led to recent death of a farmer, Koteshwara Rao (Kotaiah) in Kondaveedu village, Guntur district. YSRCP has set up a fact-finding committee on the farmer death. Opposition leader in AP Legislative Council Ummareddy Venkateshwarlu will chair the fact-finding committee. The committee will visit Kondaveedu today.
“The way chief minister Chandrababu Naidu spoke about the death of farmer is clearly indicating his sincerity towards farming community. The CM is also decevining government employees. He announced interim relief and says that will be paid from June. That decision has to be taken by the next government. How can TDP president assure on something which is not in his purview,” said Jaganmohan Reddy.
