YSR Congress is confident of getting an appointment from the Prime Minister Narender Modi during his visit to the state tomorrow. The party has written a letter on October 14 seeking an appointment with the Prime Minister on October 22 when he visits the State and it has yet to receive a word.
“We mentioned in the letter that all the Party MPs, MLAs and MLCs will represent the special status issue and sought time which is convenient to him. Even otherwise, we request the Prime Minister to make a categorical statement on the special status during his visit and the chief minister should broach the subject in his presence and see to it to get a positive reply,” he said party senior leader YV Subba Reddy.
The party is ready to meet the PM either in Gannavaram or Tirupati Airport when the PM arrives here to inaugurate the International Airport. The party wants to lodge many complaints against the ongoing capital project and real estate business associate with it and how fertile lands have been acquired against the will of the farmers besides urging for special category status.
